Futsal Program Saturdays U12-U15
Come and join us on Saturday morning at Clapham. Program is aimed at Term IV participants who have been with us at Karinya, and other new players who can trial for the program. U12-U15 (born 2011-2008). 90 minute sessions for 7 weeks. Please enrol in your age group unless identified otherwise.

About the program
For Futsal enthusiasts. We try to offer a program which allows time for working on the core skills of the game (both indoor and out) and also shows the differences, for example: in how we might control the ball. We will look at how the game is played, and different ways of setting up to play including formations and shape. The aim is for players to have MORE touches on the ball than they might otherwise have. The game is played at high speed, without offside and it means players are forced to make decisions quickly. We aim to improve and aid rapid decision making, confidence with rotating positions and changing from their normal roles. We also want to facilitate running with the ball development, 1v1 and passing/shooting accuracy.

Members 7 week program
Members (a) are registered as players for the Term IV program either Monday or Tuesday at Karinya & (b) have a Football Smarts kit (or have ordered one. This is a special Term IV offering to help our players in the "off-season"
